On behalf of everyone with SC Soccer I would like to thank all of the players that attended the tryouts on Monday May 4th. Emails have been sent out to extend an offer for you to join our teams, we realize that many of you will be participating in other tryouts and may not be ready to make the decision to join a team. However, if you are please CLICK HERE to begin the registration process.
We have been getting many phone calls about having a second tryout and that will be scheduled for next week. Please continue to watch the website for details on date and time, if you would like you may still register for the tryouts (CLICK HERE) and we will send an email to you as soon as we announce the details.
Remember you do have until May 17th to accept a position with the team, we do wish all of you good luck in your tryout process.

** U15 to U19 teams play a reduced Spring Season due to the High School soccer season.
There is a $35.00 (Thirty five) late fee for payments not received by the scheduled payment date.
TRAVEL FEES
THE SC SOCCER Board of Directors has structured fees to ensure a quality community product which aligns itself with our Mission Statement. The fees cover the following items.
- Coaches Salaries (Our high quality licensed coaches will be dedicated to our club and their players - NO coach will be assigned to more than one team)
- Coaches Travel expenses (minimum of 4 “out of town” tournaments per year)
- Continued Coaching Education (We continually provide resources to our Coaches to improve or enhance their coaching education thereby improving our programs for our children.)
- Coaches training equipment
- Additional Skills training (Advanced Skills & Goal Keeper)
- Tournament, State Cup, Indoor Soccer allowances
- League and governing organizational fees (VYSA, US Club Soccer)
- Background checks on all coaches and volunteers.
- Insurance Fees
- On-line registration
- Referee fees
- Office operations
- Field set-up and maintenance fees
- Scholarship Fund (This fund is specifically set up each year as a resource pool to help less fortunate youth who want the opportunity to play and grow)
- Community based projects ( Positive Coaching Alliance, community outreach programs)
PLAYER UNIFORMS
Player uniform expenses are not included in fees. Each Swift Creek Soccer Travel Program player will be required to purchase a uniform set for this year which will be the official uniform throughout the 2008/2009 season. Each player will receive a practice penney at the beginning of the season.
Optional outerwear and equipment items will be available at discounted rates. Payments for uniforms are expected at the time the order is placed.
Travel fee’s do not include: fees for additional tournament(s), indoor training or sessions, cost of tournament travel and anything above and beyond the above list of covered items.

| | NIKE Uniform selected for SC Soccer Teams | | |

The uniform selected for SC Soccers advance teams has been selected. All teams will wear the CENTENARIO GAME JERSEY AND SHORT. The set will include a home (White/black) and away (Black/White) jersey and game short (Black). This uniform will be used through spring 2010.
The cost will be approximately $155 which will include:
- 2- Centenario jerseys
- 1- Centenario game short
- 2 pair of Park game socks
- 2- SC Soccer training t-shirts
- Goal keepers will have the option to purchase the Mercurial goalkeeper jersey or the Rio goalkeeper jerseys in place of the field player jerseys.
Optional outerwear and equipment items will be available at discounted rates. Payments for uniforms are expected at time the order is placed.

- Fall 08- 3 tournaments, structured matches with Virginia Private Schools.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Registration is Now Open for the May 2008 Advanced Soccer Tryouts
Swift Creek Advanced Soccer MAY 5th TRY-OUTS will begin at 6:00 pm. Teams will be formed for boys and girls U12 thru U19 for the upcoming 2008/2009 Tournament season. (birthdates from 08/01/1989 thru 07/31/1998).

TOURNAMENT CENTER JUNE 2008 - MAY 2009
The first tournament that we are planning to attend is the
Pocono Cup Boys "Premier"
July 12-13, 2008
"This is the oldest and most prestigious soccer tournament in the Poconos. The Pocono Cup "Boys" Premier Tournament has a 24 year history and has played host to a countless number of players who have gone on to top universities and the MLS. This event continues to be one of the most competitive youth soccer tournaments around."
